All Hell Breaks Loose On The View Over Glee GQ Photos!
DAYUM! What is going on here??? The world has gone MAD over these pictures!
Yesterday, the ladies of The View addressed the ongoing debate on whether or not the pictures of Lea Michele and CO. in GQ were too racy to be printed.
We actually can't recall a time when Sherri Shepard so outwardly defied Barbra Walters [...]
This is unreal.
Another gay teen has taken his life after being bullied at school.
The body of 17-year-old Terrel Williams was found hanging in his closet by his mother just hours after being attacked by 5 classmates after school.
A student at Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington, Terrel had endured several attacks including being shoved into a wall and even having his ribs broken.
Terrel had written in a note before hanging himself saying that coming out as a gay teen and having a relationship with boyfriend, Daric Rawr were some of the happiest times of his life. The couple would have celebrated their seventh anniversary this Saturday, which would have been Terrel's 18th birthday.
In his suicide note, he also wrote about the bullying in his school as well as apologizing to his loved ones.
"I'm sorry to my immediate loved ones, but I feel suicide is the only way out. Today, was the record worst day of my life, some kids at school stole some of my stuff that I got from people I really cared about, and that really pushed me over the top, next to being shoved into a wall, and my ribs being broken."
Earlier this week, Terrel's mother Cheryl Williams wrote on Twitter:
"My son meant the world, and high school bullies pushed him over the edge. I hope and pray, that no other child ever has to go through what he did. Bullying isn’t worth it. Why can’t people just be nice?"
Terrel's boyfriend Daric said, "He loved life, but felt the need to take it, because [the bullying] didn’t stop … respectful, whole-hearted people like Terrel, and the growing number of others, shouldn't have to feel suicide is the answer, because bullies won’t stop."
We need to have stricter laws to MAKE bullies stop and to also get the message out there that suicide is not the answer.
Terrel had so much more to offer, as did the countless teens who have taken their lives due to bullying.
So sad.

Watch: ‘Little Project Runway’
Sean Penn was spotted yesterday on the NYC set of his new film This Must Be the Place lookin’ like the saddest drag queen you ever did see:
Unfortch for Sean, he’s not playing a drag queen in this film. In Place, he will portray a retired and bored ex-rock star who finds out the ex-Nazi who executed his father in WWII is a refugee in the US. HMM … no wonder he looks so sad. This film sounds like some heady stuff … but I can’t get past the wig and make-up. I’m certain this film will appeal to some but, yeah, it ain’t grabbin’ me just yet.

Oscar Reaction Wrap-Up: The Good, The Dull And The OMG-Totally-Over-It!
Yes, yesterday's Oscar nomination roll-out brought a fair amount of anger-inducing surprises. But it also delivered — predictably, soothingly — what we can always expect: a slew [...]
One doesn't typically equate fan boys and horror buffs with the Sundance crowd (heck, they've got Comic Con, after all). But when Rutger Hauer is in town, it's a different story.
The 67-year-old Dutch actor, perhaps best known for his roles in films like "Blade Runner" and the original version of "The Hitcher," came to Park City, Utah to screen his latest venture, an over-the-top gore fest called "Hobo With a Shotgun," much to the delight of movie fans with particularly off-kilter taste.
Hauer sat down with MTV News to discuss all the slaughter in the flick about a town gone very awry. "This is not that serious," Hauer said of the film's grindhouse-style violence. While he acknowledges the film's violence walks "a fine line," he argues that in the shock-value horror genre, "The buttons have already been pushed."
"It's a different story," he says of the film, adding, "It's not about limbs flying and how creatively you try and kill somebody."
In true camp-movie fashion, "Hobo" was screened at midnight last week to a raucous crowd that ate up every kill and cheesy line of dialogue. Even Hauer, who plays the film's vigilante — and the armed homeless dude of the title — couldn't help but get caught up in the madness of the event. He was having a blast, and was spotted filming the pre-screening hubbub with his own camera.
After the premiere, the star took questions from the audience, and as Hauer revealed to MTV, one theatergoer had a particularly stand-out query. "One kid asked me, 'I've always wanted to kill somebody, is a shotgun the right way to do it'?", to which Hauer initially responded, "Huh?!"
Then, in the true splatter-flick spirit, Hauer suggested, "Scissor hands. Why do it so quickly? Do it slowly, you know?"

Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Is An LA Lakers Fan
So … the sore throat I’ve been nursing for the past couple of days has resulted in me losing my voice :( Because David isn’t here, I haven’t spoken to anyone since yesterday evening … but when I accepted a package today, I tried to tell the deliveryman Thank You and nothing came out. LOL! I was so embarrassed. Thankfully, I’m not in pain and I don’t feel ill at all … but this throat thing has been a consistent minor annoyance for longer than I would like.
Happilly, tho, David will be back home here in LA tonight so I will be able to pester him endlessly to take care of me … I bet he can’t *wait* to get home now ;) No big news at all to report … I’ve just been reading and listening to records. Hope your week has been going well … we’re halfway to the weekend already :)

History Channel Pulls The Kennedys
Poor Katie!
A&E Television Network has pulled the plug on their new miniseries, The Kennedys, claiming the series was "not a fit" for The History Channel.
The miniseries, which stars Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes as JFK and Jackie O., was the most expensive program ever for the network and was highly-anticipated. However, it was also [...]
Our New Year's Eve was very quiet last week, spent in Jerusalem with Momma Perez. Not only do they not celebrate New Year's Eve in Israel like they do in America - the Jewish calendar is different than ours - but New Year's Eve also fell on a Friday. Shabbat! Which means that everything was REALLY quiet that night.
So, to celebrate the new year, celebrate our friends and especially celebrate our bestie's birthday, we decided to throw a super fun party on Friday night at the penthouse of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
Amazing location!
Amazing people!

You Can Do It! (Okay, Maybe Not)
The world's worst band is playing at a neighborhood fest/farmer's market one block from my apartment, but they're so loud that it sounds like they're playing right outside my window. I just ventured out so I could see what they look like and take a picture to show you, but as it turns out they're a group of down-on-their-luck teenagers playing plastic buckets and ginormous metal bazookas (which looks like trombones but aren't), so I felt bad and didn't do so.
But you know, this leads me to something. You want to encourage these kids and be like, "Keep playing your music! You can do it!" But at what point do you tell them they're awful? I mean, the neighborhood is suffering because of the noise. I have my TV turned up all the way to drown them out.
It reminds me of when I played the flute in the fourth grade school band. I thought we were amazing but then we had a concert. Afterward, when I asked my step-dad how we were, he laughed and said, "You sounded like the Charlie Brown school band." I was eight or nine years old at the time, but I was old enough to be told I sucked. I remember not caring. These kids are teenagers... I think it's time someone encouraged them to find another career path because this jam-band thing isn't working out.
(Btw, I couldn't find a clip of the Peanuts gang school band to show you, but you know what I'm talking about, right? They were horrible.)
