A few of our most famous musicians started out playing rockabilly music. In fact, they were the original rockabilly cats and were major forces in the rockabilly genre. But not all of the performers who can be considered the most influential artists of rockabilly went on to superstardom. Let's take a look at a few artists who dramatically influenced rockabilly--and thus rock and roll in general--but never reached the kind of superstar status that Elvis attained.
